When I replayed the first few levels with a coop partner it felt even easier to handle, two people at once doing stuff takes a lot of pressure off the multitasking angle. I think you might, at least the first few levels on Normal difficulty (and there is an easier one than that, plus you can unlock skulls that give you an advantage, though not sure on what levels they appear in to find) for me felt a little too easy, the AI didn't do that much damage against my units.
